After hurricane Irma came crashing through the Florida Keys, nearly a month later we are still recovering from the effects. This picture was taken a couple days after the storm had hit Key West. If this image doesn't define the resiliency of the Islands locals, then I'm not sure what can. The southernmost point got beat up, yet remains standing, just like the people of the Florida Keys. With the collective help of so many selfless individuals, we have gotten the island cleaned up and running almost as well as before. This picture doesn't show what damage we took, it shows how much we can take, and still stand!
