Its summer time which means its Spanish lime season! Every summer these island treasures are hunted down by locals from across Key West. The trees grow up to 40 feet high, which make for an intriguing climb! Kids make the climb just to taste the limes once a year. Spanish limes will continue to be one of the hidden gems of Key West.
